OUR STORY

Two Truffles Accommodation was established in late 2022. The 675 square metre property provides a lovely boutique accommodation offering situated in the heart of the historic, small, and picturesque township of Yarra Glen. This town is located, in the heart of the Yarra Valley Wine Region of Victoria, Australia.

Truffles are described as the diamond of the kitchen, just as this property is a gem accommodation offering in the Yarra Valley Wine Region. Similar to the rare combination and delicate relationship between the truffle, tree and environment, this property has a rare combination of central location in both a township and the valley coupled with a lovely cottage accommodation experience. To pay homage to this natural process, the property has been named Two Truffles Accommodation.

The property's two cottages have been named after a special natural symbiotic process involving truffles. The larger cottage, Oaktree, is named after the main type of tree that serves as a host for truffles, while the smaller cottage, Acorn, is named after the fruit/nut produced by this host tree species.

July is the coldest month of the year.

The vines are bare but the contrast with the beautiful morning mist and frost followed by the sunny winter day creates a soul reviving experience.
